ONE-WOMAN PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT

“Every Mile, a Memory…” – Photography by Lynn Alaimo

This one-woman photography exhibit will predominately feature photography of landscapes and places of architectural interest – many of which are recognizable. The displayed photography is a collection from her travels throughout the United States and Europe.

Alaimo’s love of travel paired naturally with her love of photography. She is most inspired by the light that can be captured within each unique moment. Always searching for the perfect shot, Alaimo’s goal is to capture the light to reveal the true flavor, or essence, of that particular place.

Growing up in Woodhaven, Queens, her interest in photography began as she watched her parents capture family moments on camera. As she grew older, she was able to start doing the same, through a lens of her own. Alaimo became intrigued by digital cameras as technology advanced and allowed her the ability to see her work in real-time. With the ability to select different lenses, and have creative control when capturing an image, photography is an art for Lynn.
